Hello, I'm Patrizia

I'm an Italian cook living in Berkshire.
I spend my working weeks in other people's kitchens, cooking food that makes their everyday life a little easier.
Cooking has been a constant throughout my life.
I spent many years working professionally in communication, but food was never a late discovery or a sudden change of direction. I had been cooking, experimenting and learning for decades before that passion gradually became another professional life.
In Milan, I built a vegetarian and vegan catering business at a time when that kind of food was still far from mainstream, cooking for both small occasions and events of up to 150 guests. Later, I co-founded and ran a cooking school, where more than 400 courses gave me the chance not only to teach, but to keep learning, experimenting and meeting people through food.
After moving to the UK, cooking remained the natural thread. I worked in professional kitchens and began cooking privately for families — and discovered that I particularly enjoy the everyday side of the job. Not the showpiece meal, but the Tuesday one: the food that has to be delicious, varied and interesting, but also has to work around real people and real lives.
That is what Patrizia's Kitchen is about today: bringing experience, ideas and curiosity into your kitchen, and cooking food that fits your household without becoming predictable. Familiar dishes when that is what you want, something new when you feel like a change, and always food made with care and good ingredients.

Experience
Years of professional cooking across catering, teaching and private family kitchens.
Curiosity
Italian roots, but I cook well beyond them — I like learning a household's own favourites.
Flexibility
Real family life shifts week to week. The cooking should shift with it.
